Our proud founder Fabian Erdmann has been deeply rooted in event catering since childhood. Even as a young boy, he enthusiastically tasted his way through a variety of culinary specialities: down-to-earth and exclusive delicacies in equal measure. Born in Hamburg, he learnt his first recipe from his father at the age of four. 

Did he already realise then that his path would lead to independence? However, Fabian Erdmann sees his grandfather as a decisive guide. He first ran a pub in Dortmund and then his own guesthouse in Tyrol.

The fascination begins: first catering experiences

During a school internship, Fabian ended up in a restaurant in Norderstedt - and was immediately convinced: catering is both a profession and a vocation. Further practical experience followed. Training as a hotel specialist was the next logical step.

Catering experience

A few years later, Fabian headed for the next uncharted waters: the catering sector, where he continues to navigate around crises and create unforgettable experiences. Fabian has been responsible for the culinary accompaniment of exclusive barbecues, weddings, anniversaries, company presentations and major events with many thousands of guests in various companies.

Wine distribution

Wine distribution was another station before founding Le Carrousel. Fabian was sales manager for the catering and specialist trade in the Hamburg area. We are now putting our knowledge of the multifaceted variety of wines into practice at Le Carrousel: private wine tastings and the discreet wine concierge are among our customised special offers.
